About Us

Our
Vision

The church, which is Christ’s body, is a living organism and not a mere organisation. It is formed by the gathering together of born-again believers in a given locality as the “Lord adds to the church such as should be saved”. It functions under the Headship and Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ as believers gather together steadfastly for worship, breaking of bread, studying the word of God, fellowship and prayers (Acts 2:42). Thereby to show forth His fullness, unity, love, wisdom and power.

God is seeking true worshippers, who must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:23). Therefore, sufficient time is allocated for individual worship before the observance of the Lord’s table every Sunday. Witnessing and gospel outreach activity in surrounding areas is constantly carried out.

Our Vision

Our
Mission

To witness the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and bring many souls into the kingdom of God (Mark 16:15).

To shepherd and build up the believers in the faith and facilitate their growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through various ministries of the church (1 Corinthians 12: 12-13, Romans 12: 4-5).

To prepare the church for the glorious second appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ (Titus 2: 13, Acts 2:11).

Our
Ordinances

Doctrine

The basic meaning of the term doctrine is “teaching.” Accordingly, Christian doctrine attempts to state in intellectually responsible terms the message of the gospel and the content of the faith it obtains. Teaching includes the existence and nature of God; the nature and origin of the Bible; the person and work of Christ; the person and work of the Holy Spirit; the origin and nature of man; the fall of man and salvation; the superiority of grace over law; personal defection; eternal (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 2:20-21).

Fellowship Bible Study

Fellowship is an integral part of our faith. Coming together to support one another is an experience that allows us to learn, gain strength, and show the world precisely what God is (Hebrews 10:25).

Prayer

Prayer is a vital and necessary part of the Christian life. It is essential to intentionally do it with other people so we can bear one another burdens and grow in spiritual strength (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Matthew 7:7-8, Romans 12:12-13).

The Lord’s Table

We practice the weekly observance of the Lord’s Table (1 Corinthians 11:24-25, Do this in remembrance of me). The Lord’s Table is placed at the centre to denote that all believers have equal access to the Table of the Lord. The Table is open to all believers regardless of nationality, colour, caste, creed, and status. However, all believers are exhorted to participate in the Table in a worthy manner (1 Corinthians 11: 28-29).

Worship

One of the unique aspects of this ministry is teaching and practising Biblical worship. Believers, both men and women, are encouraged to worship the Lord audibly, one by one. Specific time is set apart for worship. Worship service is preceded by a brief exhortation focusing on Christ (John 4:23-34, Psalm 95:6, Psalm 96: 9).

Baptism

Baptism must follow repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; it cannot precede them in any form. Water baptism (by immersion) is not to be made a means of salvation or a method of joining the church. It is witnessing an inner change in a believer’s life (Acts 2:41, 1 Peter 3:21).

Laying of Hands

We practice ‘laying of hands’ following baptism. This expresses the existence of a relationship that comes into being when the church ‘lays hands’ upon those who have testified to their union with Christ in baptism. By virtue of their testimony in baptism, they are the members of the “one body” and are no longer alone in the body of Christ (Hebrews 6:2, Acts 8:17).

Our
Belief

The Trinity of the Godhead

God is a Person who has revealed Himself as a Trinity in unity – The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three Persons and yet one God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 8:6).

The Father

God the Father is the creator of all things. This means that he is the creator of the world and everything in it, (Genesis 1:1-31, Ephesians 3:9). As the only absolute and pre-eminent ruler in the universe, He is sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. As Creator, He is Father to all people, but Spiritual Father only to believers (2 Corinthians 6:18, Romans 8:15).

Jesus Christ, Son of God

Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, which is to say that He is Himself the very God. He took upon Him our nature, being conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world. He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified. He ascended into heaven in that body glorified. He is now our interceding High Priest. He will come again personally and visibly to set up His kingdom and to judge the resurrected and the dead (Colossians 1:15, Philippians 2:5-8, Matthew 1:18-25, 1 Peter 2:24-25, Luke 24, Hebrews 4:14-16, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 11:15-17, 20:46, 11-15).

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide (John 14:26, Acts 1:8).

About: About Us

Statement of Faith

  • We believe in the divine authority of the Holy Bible, as the complete Word of God. We believe in the trinity, God’s plan of salvation for mankind as planned by God the Father, executed by God the Son by His atoning death on the cross and His resurrection and applied and worked out in the life of the believers by God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that the equality of the believers in the body of Christ is equally precious. The believers are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, being equally important and useful as indwelt by the Holy Spirit to contribute to the building up of the Church, the spiritual house and God’s holy habitation to show forth His fullness, unity, love, wisdom and power.

  • We believe in the preparation of the Church for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for which worship is an important part of that preparation. Therefore, we encourage individual worship of believers in spirit and truth around the Lord’s table every Sunday, enabling them to declare the preciousness of the Lord as experienced by them. We warn and encourage believers to take part in the Lord’s table worthily to be prepared for the glorious appearing of the Lord. This exercise is important as the church is being sanctified and prepared as the holy bride of Christ.

  • We believe in the autonomy of local churches under the headship and lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ based on the New Testament pattern and functioning according to the principles revealed in the word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1: 15-18, Romans 5:6-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, 1 Peter 1:19, Ephesians 1:4 and Galatians 5:2).
